a poem

“God’s Way of Love”

From the depths of the ocean,

To the Son’s most wild wave,

I love her completely, totally,

For all shining days, remarkable ways,

Of the dazzling vine,

Who brings fruit to all land,

In the Loving Divine.

“Where the Mountains Fly and Rejoice in Praises”
by Sufjan Viouiest

The life of the rocking on jet planes,
Traversing the heavenly heights,
On the way into heaven,
Through open-field pastures, fecund with beauty,

The two of them together, with Jesus,
The yearning, calling, vivacious sun,
Shining amidst, the Light of all Days,
In the lively, foggy mist,

That heaven on earth may someday become,
Alive for everyone, with peace on earth,
And more glory in heaven where Jesus’s throne alights,
The God of Israel, the Jew they know so well and delight in.

a poem

"Why I Am Here"
                          By Ben Bussewitz

The wind in her hair runs the sail of the boat,
I’m always twisting and turning it and our hearts,
Beat down the river, alive and in good manner,
In the best service to the ocean, where it leads,
And the vibrant breath, of one another, in the light of the reapers,
Comes the wealth of the speakers. Loud and proud,
Along to the peaceful dwellings and marching band parades,
Into the Time Square for all the yearnings and hopefuls’ serenade.
